Sweat equity mixed with tears are just part of our contribution to building this project and realizing this dream. Despite several investors dropping in and out of the project, numerous outright rejections of our plans at City Hall, and drama and obstacles at every turn, we stayed with our vision of creating not only an environment we wanted to do business in, but also a place for like-minded entrepreneurs.

Buro Block won a Mayor’s Urban Design Award (MUDA) in 2009.
